Refund Policy

Refund Policy – Revit with Alice

This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are provided for lessons and services offered by Revit with Alice (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking lessons, you agree to the terms below.

1. General Refund Principles

We follow the requirements of Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and provide refunds where legally required.
Outside of these requirements, refunds are offered only in the specific situations listed in this policy.

2. Student Cancellations

2.1 Lessons Cancelled with More Than 24 Hours’ Notice

  • Lessons cancelled or rescheduled more than 24 hours before the scheduled time are eligible for a full credit or can be rescheduled without cost.

  • Refunds may be provided on request.

2.2 Lessons Cancelled with Less Than 24 Hours’ Notice

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson are non-refundable.

  • These sessions may not be rescheduled without charge.

2.3 No-Show (Non-Attendance)

  • If you do not attend a booked session and no prior notice is given, the lesson is non-refundable.

3. Instructor Cancellations

If we must cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances:

  • You will be offered a new lesson time, or

  • You may request a full refund for that session (if already paid)

4. Packages, Bundles, and Prepaid Lessons

4.1 Unused Lessons

For prepaid lessons or packages:

  • Unused lessons may be rescheduled at any time within the expiration period (if applicable).

  • Refunds for unused lessons are not automatically guaranteed, but may be considered at our discretion.

4.2 Partially Used Packages

  • If a package has been partially used, the remaining lessons are not refundable, except where required by law.

5. Technical Issues

5.1 Issues on the Instructor’s Side

If a lesson cannot proceed due to our technical issues (internet, platform malfunction):

  • The session will be rescheduled at no cost

  • Or refunded in full upon request

5.2 Issues on the Student’s Side

If a student cannot participate due to:

  • Poor internet connection

  • Device failure

  • Software problems

  • Incorrect installation of Autodesk Revit

  • Other personal technical issues

The session is non-refundable.

6. Change of Mind

Refunds are not provided if:

  • You change your mind after booking

  • You decide the course is not what you wanted after the lesson starts

  • You no longer wish to continue lessons

Australian Consumer Law does not require refunds for change-of-mind cases.

7. Quality Concerns & Australian Consumer Law

Under ACL, you may be entitled to a refund or remedy if a service:

  • Is not delivered with due skill and care

  • Is not fit for the stated purpose

  • Is not delivered as agreed

If you believe the lesson did not meet reasonable professional standards, please contact us.
We aim to resolve issues fairly and quickly.

8. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests must be made in writing via email:

Include:

  • Your full name

  • Date of lesson

  • Reason for request

  • Proof of payment (if applicable)

We respond to all refund requests within 5 business days.

9. Processing Refunds

  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method.

  • Processing times vary depending on the payment provider (typically 3–10 business days).

  • Any payment processing fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

10. Currency and International Refunds

For international students:

  • Refunds are processed in AUD

  • Exchange rates and bank fees may affect the final amount received

  • We are not responsible for currency fluctuations or international transfer fees

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy as needed.
