Terms and Conditions – Revit with Alice

Welcome to Revit with Alice (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing our website, booking a lesson, or participating in online training, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Overview

Revit with Alice provides online training in Autodesk Revit and architectural workflows. These Terms apply to all users worldwide who access our services, website, or learning materials.

By booking a lesson or accessing any learning content, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. Services

We offer:

  • One-on-one online lessons

  • Group sessions (when available)

  • Customised training materials

  • Support via email or messaging

  • Learning resources

  • Optional project review and guidance

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking

Lessons must be booked through our contact form, booking system, or direct communication.

3.2 Payment

  • Payments must be made before or at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • Accepted payment methods include PayPal, bank transfer, Stripe, or other methods listed on our website.

  • Prices are displayed in AUD unless stated otherwise.

3.3 Late Payments

We may suspend lessons until overdue payments are completed.

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

4.1 Student Cancellations

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the lesson.

  • Sessions cancelled with fewer than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full.

4.2 Instructor Cancellations

If we must cancel or reschedule a lesson:

  • You will be offered a new time, or

  • A full refund for that session (if already paid)

4.3 Non-Attendance

No-shows without notice are non-refundable.

4.4 Refunds

Refunds are provided only:

  • When a session is cancelled by the instructor, or

  • When required by Australian Consumer Law

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Partially used lesson packages

  • Technical issues on the student’s side

5. Student Responsibilities

By participating in lessons, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during booking

  • Have stable internet, a working device, and access to Autodesk Revit (unless only theory is taught)

  • Participate respectfully and professionally

  • Not record sessions without written permission

  • Respect time limits and schedules

6. Use of Materials

All training materials, documents, examples, templates, and resources provided by Revit with Alice are protected by copyright.

You agree NOT to:

  • Share, copy, or distribute materials

  • Re-sell or use materials for teaching others

  • Claim ownership of provided resources

You may use materials only for your personal learning.

7. Online Platforms and Technology

We may use Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, or other online platforms.

You are responsible for:

  • Installing required software (not provided to the student)

  • Ensuring your own device compatibility

  • Updating applications when necessary

  • Maintaining security of your login details

We are not responsible for failures caused by:

  • Poor student internet connection

  • Device malfunction

  • Student software issues

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Training is provided “as is” and based on instructor expertise.

  • We do not guarantee employment, job placement, or specific project outcomes.

  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our services.

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant lesson.

Your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.

9. Intellectual Property

All branding, content, lessons, materials, logos, recordings, and website text are owned by Revit with Alice and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Unauthorised use is strictly prohibited.

10. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you consent to that policy.

11. International Users

Although based in Australia, our services are available worldwide.
By booking lessons internationally, you acknowledge that:

  • Data may be transferred to Australia

  • Australian law applies to these Terms

12. Right to Terminate Services

We may refuse or terminate lessons if a student:

  • Behaves inappropriately

  • Violates these Terms

  • Misuses materials

  • Engages in abusive or unsafe behaviour

A refund may or may not be issued depending on the circumstances.

13. Amendments to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.
Changes take effect immediately once posted on our website.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes will be handled under NSW jurisdiction.
